Group Classes
Bring friends (up to 6) and learn metalsmithing basics, a particular technique or beading. Stay for 1 hour or longer, brass and copper material included. Silver extra. $12/hour/person.

Private Classes
Learn metalsmithing basics, a particular technique or beading. Stay for 1 hour or longer, brass and copper material included. Silver extra. $20/hour.

Open Studio
A chance for all current and previous metalsmithing and jewelry students to work independently on projects. Intermediate-level experience is required. Students should come to class with the materials they intend to use. $17/hour/person.

Types of classes:
Basic Metalsmithing - Get introduced to the vast and wonderful world of metalworking and jewelry making. You will learn how to saw, pierce, file, texture, solder, rivet, and polish metal.

Advanced Metalsmithing
Expand your skills, while adding more tools to your repertoire.

Soldering
Learn soldering techniques using copper that can be applied to brass and silver. These techniques include sweat, butt, wire, and pick soldering methods.

Hammering & Texturing
Use your hammers to texture metal with all sorts of material, including stamps, wire, and even lace!

Basic Patina
Use heating methods and liver of sulfur to color and darken brass, copper, and sterling silver.

Wire Working & Chain Making
Learn how to make loops and connect multiple pieces. Add beads and dangles for a personal touch.

Beginning Beading
Learn stringing, knotting, looping and how to finish your pieces

Open studio
Independently work on projects. Students should bring the materials that they intend to use.
