Introduction to Metalsmithing Techniques
Learn to make 2 gorgeous pieces of jewelry (ready to wear by the end of class!) with an introduction to metalsmithing techniques. Your teacher will guide you to shape, cut, file, solder, hammer and polish a bracelet and pendant. Students will begin with round wire that they will make into a thin hammered bangle. Second, a pendant in any shape will be decorated with cutouts, stamps or hammers, designs are up to you!
Class will last 2 hours and brass, copper and black cord are included.
Price :$32 per person
Classes will take place following dates:
- Monday through Wednesday from 1p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Monday and Friday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Each class supports up to 6 participants, so call ahead to reserve your slot.
